Leman Street Tavern is a minor miracle of geometry. It’s a cavernous room, but clever interior design creates a sufficiency of cosy nooks where you can sit and chat over a cocktail or two. Or a beer, of course. They have plenty of those.
There’s a private dining space for groups, but on a Sunday lunchtime (just after the above picture was taken), the main dining area was full of families enjoying high-grade gastropub fare.
Roast beef was expertly cooked, and came with a variety of just-right trimmings. Staff are friendly, and really know their stuff. Highly recommended.
