I’m not a fan of cupcakes – I’m much more of a patisserie kind of gal. But not just any old pain au chocolat or croissant will do. Nope: they’ve got to have the flakiness and flavour you only get with real, honest-to-goodness butter.
That’s just one reason I love The Pastry Parlour. Their croissants are the best I’ve ever tasted in the UK. Bite into one and you could almost be in Paris.
It’s a nice space, too, with enough room to whip out your laptop or have an out-of-office meeting. And while you’re there, don’t miss their filled baguettes.
